mother's day

It was officially my first mother's day. What a mix of emotions. Clay and Carter made sure I had the best day ever. Carter got me a bouquet of my favorite flowers...tulips! He even gave me the sweetest card. After church, we went on a hike. Carter looks too cute on daddy's back. He loves looking at the trees and wildlife. We let him touch trees, leaves and flowers so he can learn about this big world. Thank you so much for your sacrifice. You allowed this day to happen for us and I will never forget it. We have the best son ever...all because of you. I think he wants to see his Auntie soon :)

I finally got a smile on camera! He smiles and laughs all the time, but when you stick a camera in front of his face, he gets mesmerized and studies the camera.

Mr. C rolled over on March 3rd for the first time! This was his second time performing his new trick. As you can see, Beau really likes his dirty bibs and was going to town on one in the background. Gross!

I'll be 3 months old this weekend! Yesterday, I weighed "unofficially" at 14.5 pounds. We did it on a scale at home that goes in .5 increments. So I could weigh more or I could weigh less. At any rate, I'm a healthy growing boy! I'm starting to interact and smile a lot. I even see objects in front of me and I try to reach for them.
