Virginia Bound
Poof. In one day all of our stuff was packed on a truck and hauled away. Carter decided that all of this wide open space gave him plenty of practice to do what he learned to do a week ago...crawl. Or should I say scoot. He's got the army scoot down pretty well and he's almost on all fours. I'm sure he'll have that mastered by next week!
Two of Carter's favorite things are Beau and Belle. Wherever the dogs are, Carter will scoot over to them.
We decided to camp out in our house after all our furniture was hauled away. It saved money and I think Carter liked his new tent! He's feeding himself and he always likes to have his legs in the air while eating...

Hotel beds are fun...especially since they get made for you everyday!
We bought a year pass to all the national parks. Great Falls was our first one in VA.
Of course, Carter is keeping up with his Baby Can Read videos :)

Father's Day
After I made Clay a big breakfast, I asked him what he wanted to do for Father's Day. He said take CJ swimming! So we packed up the car, swung by the drug store to get baby sunscreen and swim diapers, and headed to the pool on base. Here are a few snapshots of CJ and daddy getting in the pool for the first time. Both CJs loved it!

mother's day
It was officially my first mother's day. What a mix of emotions. Clay and Carter made sure I had the best day ever. Carter got me a bouquet of my favorite flowers...tulips! He even gave me the sweetest card. After church, we went on a hike. Carter looks too cute on daddy's back. He loves looking at the trees and wildlife. We let him touch trees, leaves and flowers so he can learn about this big world. Thank you so much for your sacrifice. You allowed this day to happen for us and I will never forget it. We have the best son ever...all because of you. I think he wants to see his Auntie soon :)
