It's a girl!!!

We are so excited! My cycle is at 20 weeks 2 days and she is measuring right on target at 20 weeks 1 day. Her weight is estimated at 12oz. We didn't even have to ask for a 4D image...the lady just switched it over for us and there she was! Thank you for all of your prayers!

is it a boy or girl?

Hmmmm...that's the big question. The ultrasound is tomorrow morning at 9am. Anyone have any guesses?

snow day

We had the first official snow last week here in Virginia. It has "snowed" a few other times, but I don't call 1 inch real snow. It snowed about 8-10 inches and Clay's work gave everyone the day off. Lucky Carter and me! We don't have a snowsuit for Carter, so this is what we did, not kidding...

Who knew all these extra trashbags and duct tape would come in handy?

At this point, I couldn't keep from laughing. It was just too funny watching him waddle around in trashbags. He thought this was the greatest thing ever!

The bags held up and Carter had tons of fun! Not to mention my stomach hurt from non-stop laughing!

The belly is starting to show...

For those of you who wanted me to start a blog documenting this miraculous pregnancy, here you go! For those of you who didn't know about the blog, some friends and I decided this would be this best way to share what is going on from so far away.

Here ya go...the first picture. This was taken at 15 weeks, a week and a half ago.

Our 20 week ultrasound is scheduled for Valentine's day (which would be 19 weeks) but I think I'm going to postpone it a week to make sure the baby is big enough to detect any possible problems. And YES, we are going to find out the sex and share with all of you!

Head Shaker

Clay is standing across from Carter shaking his head. Carter wants to be like daddy and thought shaking his head was the best thing ever!

It's fun to spin!

Carter loves spinning in this chair...the faster he spins, the more he likes it. It's so funny to see him dizzy when it stops...but he just wants more!
