Lori Moore Photography!

It's Hannah's 6 month photo shoot so we decided to get Carter in on the action. He wasn't having it. He screamed and kicked and wouldn't smile unless we gave him a ball. That is why there are balls in most of his pictures. If you don't see him holding a ball, it's because we are holding the ball just above the camera lens to try and get him to look. He made some pretty incredible faces. As for Hannah, she did pretty well. She would try and sit up on her own and then topple over after a few seconds which made for some great crying sessions. Thank you, Lori, for the pictures!

Jauary (hibernation) fun

I wish I snapped the picture of how Hannah got this car in her hand. Carter, on his own accord, went up to Miss H, said "share car", and gave the car to her! Priceless!

I can kind of sit up now!

Carter and I like to play a game. I chase him through the house and then he stops to let me tickle him. We were playing this just before naptime and he kept wanting to "do again" "mommy run". I told him one more time. He started running like crazy and then all of a sudden, I heard "BOOM...pause...WAIL". This kid tripped and slammed his head in the doorjamb. He wouldn't let me touch him for a while, but I cornered him and snapped this pic. You can see the bump didn't take long to show!

We were playing with CJ in his room must before bedtime. He decided to play a game with us and kept repeating. Hilarious!

Mia Visit

Mia got to stay for an entire week! We were excited and so were the kids. The weather was pleasant so we took advantage. I guess we walk no matter what the weather is...what can I say, we like to be outside! This is the trail directly behind our house. I mean you enter the trail through the back of our fence...that is how close it is. It's been great living with beautiful trees behind us instead of staring into someone else's house. We walk this trail A LOT and we love it!

NYE 2011

The day after our drive home from Ohio, we had our favorite Texas visitor come to visit! When Mia comes, CJ always requests to play bubbles with the bubble ball...nonstop!

For NYE we decided to make it a night with our most favorite neighbors ever! We had lots of food and then rang in the new year in our pj's with champagne...at 10:45pm. Yes, we admit that we are ol' fogies and can't stay up past midnight without it affecting us the entire next day! We figured it was midnight somewhere!
